What Rivertigo knows about you, why, and what you can do about it.
Draft — not yet in force
The company details and contact address below are placeholders, and no lawyer has reviewed this text. It is here so the pages exist and can be checked against what the software actually does. Do not rely on it, and do not launch with it.
Rivertigo d.o.o., Primjer 1, 10000 Zagreb, Hrvatska (registration number 00000000000), decides what is collected here and why. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.
The platform runs on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, and on Amazon Web Services in the same region. Nothing is transferred outside the European Union.
Only what the platform needs to work. Nothing is bought from anyone else.
Rivertigo sets cookies for one purpose: keeping you signed in. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind, so there is nothing here to consent to and no banner asking you to.
Because you asked us to run an account for you, and we cannot do that without it. Where something is not strictly necessary — keeping records of administrative actions, for instance — we hold it because the platform could not be moderated or kept secure otherwise.
Anything you post is public. Beyond that, your data is handled by the companies that run the machinery: Amazon Web Services stores pictures and serves them, and Google and Facebook are involved only if you chose to sign in through them. None of them are permitted to use it for their own ends.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.
A copy of everything we hold about you — there is a button for it in your settings, and it downloads at once. A correction, from your profile. Deletion, also from your settings. To object to something we do, or to ask us to stop while a disagreement is sorted out: write to us and you will hear back within a month.
Deleting your account removes your name, your email address, your profile and your picture, and everything that was only ever about you — who you followed, what you saved, what you reacted to. Your posts and comments stay, no longer attached to anyone, because removing them would leave gaps in conversations other people are still having.
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first — and if that gets you nowhere, you can complain to the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP).
Rivertigo is not meant for children under 16. If you believe a child has an account here, write to us and we will remove it.
